I was in the Taj Mahal Palace last week to Celebrate another milestone in my life ..my 25th Wedding Anniversary and as always was treated to the best service (fortunate to have celebrated my husband's 50th, my 50th & my son's 21st Birthday with your The Taj Colaba) For the wonderful experiences that l have had l must mention loud & clear one of your Best Housekeeping staff Mr Sandip Ghuge. I have experienced Sandip & his hospitality from during Covid times('20) & always look forward to seeing & meeting him , his smile & his personality is very warm. He is a perfect example of ' Service with a smile' or should l say Best Service with a Beautiful Smile....Thank you Sandip for be part of my beautiful memories in Taj. Wishing him the best in life. I have to thank his team Puja Yelve , Mayuri & Mangesh for the beautiful arrangement done in the room. Thank you Vinod for a yummy cup of coffee. This time had a chance to meet Mr Nishant Oberoi a gentleman very very sweet to talk to..Had a wonderful time interacting with him..He told time off his busy schedule to show & tell me the history of Taj & Tata. Was looking forward to meeting Cyberica & Rahul Gurshani...Did not meet Cyberica but had a wonderful time interacting with Rahul..remembering the times during Covid when the reception lobby use to have very few people & Rahul & myself use to stand and chat . We booked the Taj Mahal for the final 5 days of a special birthday 14 night trip and were delighted upon arrival to find we had been upgraded from the Tower to the Palace. We arrived at the room to find it decorated with balloons and also a chocolate birthday cake! House keeping then arranged a simple foot spa in the room which was perfect after a long day travelling. Service was amazing, as you might expect from the jewel in Mumbai's crown of hotels. But we also loved the architecture and the ambience, this hotel is a true treasure from a different age. We took breakfast in the Sea Lounge on the first floor which had a good array of both Indian and western continental offerings, coupled with an amazing view of India Gate and across the bay. Relaxing by the pool was a dream, staff here would always help secure beds in sun or shade, lay out towels and ensure a steady supply of cold bottled water. The pool itself was heated perfectly, just enough to take off the chill, and plenty of room to either relax or swim laps. The location is great, several great cafe/restaurants within 5 minute walk should you wish to venture out, we recommend Leopold Cafe, Mag St. Cafe and Cafe Mondegar. Don't miss the street markets in an evening too!

We stayed here for our first anniversary and woah, it was the most memorable stay ever. They surprised us with a cake and room declaration. We had food in Shamiyana, Souk and Masala Kraft. All were top class. Breakfast with sea view at Palace Lounge was icing on cake. We also had heritage tour at the end of our stay. Historian helped us to know the grand history of this hotel and it was a wonderful experience overall.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff are so polite and never say no always willing to help. We were greeted with a Tulsi Mala and a nice cool drink. Hotel is excellent rich with history.
